A Place In The Sun's Danni Menzies was left horrified after a buyer brushed off her property.
The property expert flew off to help Poppy and her dad, Philip, realise their dream of finding a holiday home in inland Andalucía. The family thought it was the right time to settle down for retirement and decided that Poppy's experience as an estate agent was more important than Philip's wife coming along too.
Phillip wanted a private home that was a 15-minute walk from the nearest amenities but was flexible on the number of bedrooms, stating he was happy with one. With a budget of £50,000 and wiggle room of £60,000 for the right place, Danni lined up five properties for them to look at.

The first property on the list was a £53,000 one-bedroom home situated on the rolling hills of Andalucía. Right off the bat, Danni revealed the house didn't have a kitchen and it would be something the family would need to install themselves.
Poppy said it would be no problem as they've done so many times before which instantly calmed Danni's anxious demeanour. After giving them a tour of the house, she asked if there was anything they would like different to what was shown to which Phillip said: "Nope, it's perfect."
Regrouping on the mezzanine, Danni asked whether it was a contender but she was met with a resounding, "No." The property expert screamed back the response in confusion as she slightly stumbled in shock. She added: "What do you mean no?!"
Phillip then revealed that it wasn't a contender but a "massive probability," teasing Danni with a false shutdown. Danni composed herself as she laughed off the cheeky joke, breathing a sigh of relief.
In the end, Phillip placed a very low offer of £37,000 but eventually agreed with the owner on £40,000 after some back-and-forth haggling.
