A Place In The Sun left host speechless as couple are split over buying abroad

A Place in the Sun 's Jasmine Harman was left her head in hands as a couple were divided during their search for a property in warmer climes.

The property expert was seen exacerbated as her buyers' were split on Monday’s show.

She was helping Craig and Suzy find their dream property in Tenerife and the couple came armed with a budget of £200,000 for a two-bedroom holiday home in Los Gigantes.

But Jasmine was left flabbergasted as the duo disagreed throughout their search, coming to blows over their conflicting views on the first two properties they were shown.

Suzy told the hose she was keen to join a knitting club in Tenerife and Jasmine explained a group gathered in Los Gigantes near a local bar where Craig could watch the football.

Potential buy Craig was impressed by Jasmine’s local knowledge as she explained the bar was owned by a fellow Liverpool FC supporter.

But Suzy then confessed, much to Jasmine’s disbelief, that the couple’s divide even stretched to their football club allegiance as she was a proud Everton fan.

Property expert Jazmine was stunned when the duo were both fans of property three.

She said: "I'm a little bit speechless because you two are agreeing on something for possibly the first time ever."

The third property, a two-bed apartment in Los Gigantes, was the couple's favourite home on the search and they decided to put an offer in.

It was priced at £227,723 but the hopeful buyers decided to go low and put in an initial offer of £160,000.

The apartment’s owners made a counteroffer of £185,000 but Suzy and Craig decided to walked away from the deal as Craig thought the home was worth a maximum of £170,000.
