A Place in the Sun presenter Jean Johansson was left with her head in her hands after potential buyers hinted at a difficult search.

The Scots property expert sought out five stunning holiday homes in Gran Canaria for Ryan and Steve but was left asking the couple if it would be a 'difficult search'. The couple, from London, were on the lookout for a one or two-bedroom apartment in the Canary Islands and came armed with a maximum budget of £180,000.

The Glasgow-born TV presenter was tasked with finding Ryan and Steve their dream home in Maspalomas, while they were keen to be near the LGBTQ hotspots as well as the stunning beach. Ryan confirmed he had never visited the area, while Steve had travelled there before and fallen in love with the region.
