A Place In the Sun host 'didn't expect' buyer's intense reaction

A Place In The Sun's Leah Charles-King was shocked to see her buyer become teary-eyed after viewing their first home.

Leah flew off to sunny Cyprus to help Aberdeen couple Uri and Hazel find their perfect holiday home. Their daughter Shiann was in Hazel's place as she wasn't able to fly out, but she said she would nudge her father in the right direction.

With a hefty budget of £200,000, Leah lined up five properties that fit their requests. Uri said he wanted something low maintenance, not too big and ideally with a swimming pool situated somewhere along the coast.

Leah knocked it out of the park with the first property that fit her buyers' requirements down to a tee. A two-bedroom bungalow with a spacious patio and its own fruit and vegetable garden went down such a treat with Uri, he became teary-eyed just moments after entering.

The property expert asked if it was too much for him as he was seen laughing off his emotions. He said: "I don't know how to explain it but it's very us."

Leah couldn't quite believe her luck in landing such a knockout. She said: "Who knew that they'd fall in love with the first property? I didn't expect that at all but I'm taking it." At the end of the show, Uri and Shiann put down an offer of £180,000 for their dream home which was accepted by the owner.
