A Place in the Sun host Jasmine Harman was accused of showing a potential buyer a "garage" during Thursday's instalment of the Channel 4 show.
Carol and her daughter-in-law Donna were searching for a two-bedroom home in Lanzarote. With a budget of £150,000 Carol wanted an apartment or villa with plenty of light, a swimming pool and a sea view.
She also wanted it to be in walking distance to shops and restaurants. With Jasmine up for the tough challenge, she began showing the women some properties in the area.

Things were off to a bad start, however, as Carol - who herself admitted she "likes to complain", said the first property "looked like a garage". The two bedroom bungalow had its own pool, but Carol was less than impressed.
The next home showed by Jasmine did not tick Carol's boxes either. But the third - a penthouse with a huge terrace and sea views - seemed to have some appeal.
As it was a 15 minute walk from the town centre, though, Donna hoped they could find something closer. While Donna loved the fifth apartment they were shown, Carol didn't like it being on the ground floor.
Host Jasmine apologised to the women for "throwing a spanner in the works". She said: "I've actually sabotaged the house hunt by showing you something in such a fantastic location but with other compromises."
After taking a night to think it over, the two still couldn't agree on a property to make an offer on. Jasmine said: "You're not going to find anything better than those, really and truly. We have left no stone unturned."
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4 and All 4
