A Place In The Sun home hunters let their dogs' preferences get in the way of finding themselves a home.
Newlyweds Debbie and John jet off to sunny Costa Del Sol in hopes of finding their perfect home together. The couple were joined by their dogs, Dolly and Betty, as they toured Benalmádena with a budget of £250,000 and expert help from Jean Johansson.
They were keen to find a spacious property with scenic viewers but appeared to be looking on the behalf of someone other than themselves. After they were shown what Jean considered to be perfect, they shot the homes down because their dogs wouldn't like them.

Debbie and John admitted all the right boxes were ticked but turned down a potential property because their dogs didn't have enough room to run. Jean had to tempt the couple into another home by suggesting they could pull up the garden tiles in favour of grass to better suit the dogs' tastes.
The couple's pickiness didn't go down well with viewers who begged they thought of themselves rather than their pets. One fan said: "The dogs are going to embrace life in Spain, apparently. Does that mean they'll be taking the Spanish lessons in the town hall?"
Another added: "Do you want a house or a kennel ffs?"
A third viewer said: "You will need a place up in the mountains for the dogs."
A final comment added: "Are dogs on zoom call watching? They no doubt treat them like children."
Debbie and John sat down with Jean at the end of the show to discuss the potentials but agreed none met their match. The property expert joked she did her best to appease both their and their dogs' tastes but they eventually went back to the UK empty-handed.
