A Place In The Sun buyers' brutal comments stunned the property expert who was helping them to find their dream home.
Leah Charles-King was in Spain’s Orihuela Costa helping Donna and Graeme find the perfect holiday home for a budget of £75,000. Focusing on a two/three-bed apartment that felt light and airy, Leah had her work cut out for her.
Arriving at their first property, the couple were apprehensive at viewing a home with a price tag of £95,000. Despite the owner's willingness to drop to an affordable £83,000, Donna and Graeme shared a brief look of concern with one another.

No more than a minute after stepping foot inside, the property was thrown to the side as they criticised it from head to toe. Slamming the furniture, Graeme said: "We may have stepped back in time a little bit, maybe as far back as the 70s."
Leah tried her best to bring him round to the decor by asking if his mind could be swayed by the fact the home comes fully furnished. Sadly, she was met with a blunt and resounding "no."
Viewers were taken back by the unusually harsh critique as they shared their disbelief online. One viewer said: "Oh dear #aplaceinthesun today's couple moaning about the ubiquitous pine furniture found all over Spain..."
Another comment added: "That’s decent for their budget!"
A third viewer jokingly said: "I'm defo going to apply, looking for a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, open plan, outdoor space with a pool close to amenities. Budget? £37.50, realistic? Just as realistic as some of the people who get on the show!!"
Leah was also shocked by their abrasive nature as she said: "Tell me what you really think! Don’t hold back!" Chipping in again, Graeme admitted they could spruce up the property but was "unsure if we'd want to."
In the end, Leah managed to appeal to their tastes as they signed the deal on an £82,759 property.
