Buyers on A Place in the Sun became emotional as they shared the reason behind their house hunt.
Chris and Marie were looking to make the move from the UK to Manilva, Spain. They enlisted the help of Channel 4's Danni Menzies on the search of their dream home.
The couple were looking for a two-bedroom property with two bathrooms and nice views with a budget of £125,000. But when discussing why they were deciding to make such a big move the couple, who were ready for retirement, both became very emotional.

Speaking of why they were choosing Spain, Marie said: "When you’re here you feel relaxed." Then she opened up on a bigger reason as she explained that she had suffered from some major health issues.
She said: "I had a quadruple heart bypass and now I have a new perspective. A new lease of life." Chris added: "This is our adventure."
Marie added: "When I came out of it I think we needed something for ourselves to move forward. New beginnings and hopefully that’s what we’ll get it’s been a hard struggle but I’m here."
They went on to fall in love with one of the properties that Danni had shown them. It was a two-bed apartment in La Chullera with picturesque sea views and had a terrace overlooking a communal pool.
The buyers decided to make a "cheeky" offer of £115,000 in cash which, much to their delight, was accepted straight away. Marie excitedly screamed while Chris broke down in tears at the news.
He sobbed as he said: “I’m b****y crying." Marie added: “He’s crying, isn’t it lovely. What’s getting you emotional?” Chris replied: “Just seeing you so happy."
