A Manchester bar is opening an Aperol terrace just in time for the heatwave - and they're giving away 200 free drinks

In what can only be described as spectacular timing, Aperol, the popular Italian aperitivo, will take over Manchester’s Oast House over the next couple of weeks, as the bar’s outdoor terrace is turned into a beautiful Italian square, Piazza Aperol. To celebrate the return of the Italian-inspired al fresco terrace, the bar will also be giving out 200 free Aperol Spritz.

Fully decked out with orange trees, Fiat 500s in Aperol’s signature orange, swing seats and art deco street lights, Piazza Aperol will be open from Thursday, July 14 until Sunday, July 24, excluding Monday July 18. Transporting city dwellers from the hustle and bustle of Manchester, the Piazza will also feature cafe-style seating and a double-tier Aperol Spritz Bar as well.

Loris Contro, Campari Group UK Italian Icons Brand Ambassador, said “The Italian piazza is the beating heart of any town or city, where family and friends come together to mark the end of the working day, and the beginning of the evening to come. With this summer set to be more sociable than ever, Piazza Aperol will transport you to Italy with its celebration of the spontaneous and joyful, continental way of life.
