Week 5 of college football season might be quite different from any other we see during this season as Hurricane Ian nears landfall in Florida and the southeastern part of the United States.
Multiple Week 5 games have adjusted times and locations as a workaround to the looming hurricane. This is in part to prevent playing in the most dangerous weather, but is also important to ensure critical resources are reserved for the storm’s aftermath.
With a handful of days left before the football weekend gets underway, expect to see a few more schedule re-adjustments.
Here is a running list of Week 5 college football games that have been relocated or rescheduled.
Florida vs. Eastern Washington
The Gators will still host Eastern Washington at The Swamp, but it’ll be played on Sunday instead of Saturday.
Due to Hurricane Ian, our game vs. Eastern Washington has been re-scheduled for Sunday, October 2nd at noon.
