Thousands of students across the UK will be collecting their A-Level results today - but you don’t necessarily need a degree to get a high-paid job.
University is just one of many routes into employment. For example, you might go straight into employment or look into an apprenticeship.
It all depends on what type of career you want to do, and what is the best option for you.
If university isn’t for you, job site Indeed has rounded up 12 jobs that pay up to £72,000 - without having a degree.
The best-paying job is a sales director, with an average salary of £72,783 - followed by a director of recruiting on £60,826.
Indeed says train drivers earn £59,000 on average, while head of customer service could make £56,536.

While you won't necessarily need a university education to get one of these roles, you will need experience in your chosen sector.
This is because they are senior positions - so you'll likely already need to be in a similar job and be prepared to work your way up.
You should read each job description carefully to check what skills you need, and if it mentions how much experience you need in that industry.
New research from Indeed shows a massive 87% of employers would favour a positive work attitude over qualifications in an entry level job.
A further 78% value candidates who are passionate about the role higher than those that hold a degree.
Danny Stacy, head of talent intelligence, UK and Ireland, said: “A-level results day is an anxious and exciting time for students hoping to earn the grades they require to enter university.
“But for hundreds of thousands of people not planning on higher education, it's a time for evaluating what the future holds and considering the jobs and careers open to them.
“The good news for those planning on taking their first step on the ladder is that the jobs market appears in good shape and this is also true of entry-level roles, which are at their highest point in three years.”
