If A’ja Wilson wanted to avoid the Bam Adebayo dating rumors, her teammates and Miami-Dade’s mayor certainly aren’t helping.
Fans have been convinced that A’ja and Bam are an item for months. The two hoopers were spotted together in Las Vegas earlier this year, and the rumors swirled. It got even louder during the Olympics when fans caught wind of a subtle Aja-Bam handshake after the Team USA women won gold.
On Wednesday, the dating rumors started again when A’ja was in the audience as Bam received the keys to the city of Miami. The mayor of Miami-Dade County made things really awkward with a shoutout to A’ja, which included recognizing the star’s presence by saying,” I guess that has something to do with Bam and the Heat.”
