Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is off to a productive start, as through nine games, he already has six touchdowns to go along with 1,005 receiving yards. He’s also set an NFL record with six straight games of at least six catches and 125 yards through the air. But even with his pace, Brown is quick to tip his hat and acknowledge when someone is succeeding.
Recently, Brown commented that Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain is the best cornerback in the NFL. In all fairness, Brown’s rationale holds weight. In February, Pro Football Focus ranked Surtain as the 32nd-best NFL player in the league. And while his stats this season may not tell the story (29 tackles and one interception), Surtain’s production has added up metric-wise.

The Broncos have made progress the past few games behind Surtain leading a stellar defense. They will get a chance to bring their record to 5-5 when they face off against the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday.
