Friends, mark your calendars because on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, HBO Max will summon would-be dragonseeds to descend beneath the city and face their reckoning in The Dragon’s Lair. Translation: They’re going to create a massive interactive activation in Sydney’s historic Wynyard tunnels to celebrate season three of House Of The Dragon.
Underneath the streets of Sydney, you will be called to complete an immersive trial to determine if you possess the ancient Valyrian spark. As you make your way through the hidden passages, the Dragon Keepers will guide you to the underbelly of the Dragon Pit, and it is here that you must prove you have what it takes to claim a dragon.
Public tickets and session times for The Dragon’s Lair are strictly limited. Tickets will be available from today, offered on a first-come, first-served basis — AND are completely free.
A limited number of additional tickets will be released at the on-site ticket booth each day for those who might have missed out.
The entrance to The Dragon’s Lair will be located in Wynyard Park, above Wynyard Train Station, between York Street and Carrington Street.
With the final trailer having just dropped and the premiere locked in for June 22, the countdown is fully on.
Let’s be honest, season two copped a lot of heat for feeling like an eight-hour prologue, moving chess pieces around, and blue-balling us on the actual war. But after watching the season three trailer and the epic actors joining the cast this season (Tommy Flanagan, James Norton, Dan Fogler and Annie Shapero), it feels like Ryan Condal and the writers heard the feedback, and are absolutely about to unleash the fire.
