A gunman holed up at a Japanese post office may be linked to an earlier shooting at a hospital

A suspect believed to be in his 80s allegedly took people hostage in a post office in Japan after shooting and injuring two others at a hospital in Toda city on Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect holed up in the post office in the neighbouring city of Warabi, according to Reuters.
