NEW DELHI: Salima Tete, the new captain of the Indian women's hockey team, is looking to use the "valuable lessons" learned from the team's recent home series against South Africa to start fresh in the FIH Pro League's European leg, which gets underway in Antwerp, Belgium, on Wednesday.
India finished sixth in the nine-team standings after winning just two of the eight games played in the first leg, which was hosted in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela, under former captain Savita Punia.
