It’s been quite some time since EA Motive gave us fresh details on the Dead Space remake, but that’s changing this week.
On Monday, EA Motive announced that there will be a Dead Space remake developer stream happening Friday, March 11, 2022, at 10 A.M. PDT // 1 P.M. EDT // 6 P.M. GMT here.
“Motive invites you to the latest in their series of early looks at development and what goes into the remake of a game,” EA Motive said on YouTube.
Specifics about what the stream might entail are noticeably absent, but EA Motive did include a brief teaser trailer that you can watch below.

Dead Space came out back in 2008 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC to significant acclaim from critics and fans alike. It’s held in the same high regard as Resident Evil and Silent Hill among hardcore survival horror enthusiasts. However, despite all that adoration, Dead Space 3 was the last mainline series entry due to developer Visceral Games shutting down in 2017. If all pans out well, this remake should reinvigorate interest in Dead Space. Fingers crossed, anyway.
The Dead Space remake will be EA Motive’s sophomore effort (the first being Star Wars: Squadrons) and will release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at some point in the future.
