A Czech Motorcycle Company Just Dropped A 113-Horsepower Bike. But Nobody Knows What To Call It

When I wrote about the Czech-built Jawa 730 Twin earlier this year, I came away with one big question: Was this the start of a genuine comeback, or just another concept destined to spend its retirement parked under showroom lights and covered in fingerprints?

Now there's another twist in the story. Jawa has reportedly unveiled something called the 1000 Sport, a limited-production concept motorcycle packing around 113 horsepower, premium Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, and styling that looks like it escaped from a custom bike builder's fever dream. If the reports are accurate, only 15 examples could be built, each carrying a price tag north of $70,000.
