A cosplayer says her movers broke nearly everything she owned in a cross-country move, including a sword she spent three months making

Between the packing and transportation, moving can be a stressful affair, which makes a good moving company invaluable. However, as cosplayer Margaux Millie recently shared on Instagram and TikTok, what do you do when the movers seemingly fail enough to leave you “financially devastated”? In a post that drew more than 100,000 views, Millie alleged that Texas-based All My Sons destroyed all her belongings during a cross-country move.

Millie’s video started with a look at a collector poster or graphic novel, sitting in a shattered frame. Then comes a montage of images: a desk that was broken in half, plastic containers that can’t even stand straight, broken shelves, torn-up boxes, bent art. In between the various images of broken belongings, she edited in an itemized list, all marked as damaged or missing, and alleged in the overlay text, “Itemized to around 12,000$ of damage.”
