NEW DELHI: Not anticipating some players' prioritization of Indian Premier League over domestic cricket, BCCI secretary Jay Shah has asked centrally-contracted players to prove themselves in first-class cricket if they want to be considered for selection in the national side.
Shah also warned players that 'severe implications' will follow if they ignore domestic cricket.
