A Bronx Bakery Recalls Five Breads Sold in Bodegas After a Routine FDA Inspection Found Label Errors

Five varieties of bread sold in small markets and bodegas around the Bronx and Westchester have been recalled because they may contain undeclared sesame or milk, allergens that can cause life-threatening reactions in people sensitive to them. Prince Bakery of the Bronx issued the recall, which the FDA posted Wednesday.

The affected products are Prince brand Sesame Italian Bread, Large Italian Bread, Large Sesame French Bread, Long Sesame French Bread, and Pan de Manteca Spanish Style Bread. They come in white bags with blue, green, and red lettering and images.
