At the Africa Cup of Nations, the action on the pitch has been overshadowed by Monday's deadly stampede outside the stadium hosting Cameroon's match with Comoros that left eight people dead. Questions have also been raised over host country Cameroon's Covid protocol.
Samuel Eto'o, newly elected president of FECAFOOT, the French acronym for the Cameroon football federation, spoke to FRANCE 24 as pressure mounted on the host.
