Jollibee, Princes Street
The Asian fast-food giants have finally arrived in the capital and it's the perfect excuse to see what all of the fuss is about.
The chain's best-sellers include; the Chickenjoy, a crispy fried chicken made with a family-secret marinade; the Jolly Spaghetti, made with a Filipino-inspired sweet sauce and layers of cheese and hot dog slices, and the famous Jollibee Chicken Burger, priced at just £3.99.
Itsu, St James Quarter
The popular food chain has finally arrived in Edinburgh, offering a top range of delicious dishes including sushi, dumplings, bao, hot noodles and rice bowls.
Hope Omirisu, Nicolson Street
And speaking of popular new Japanese options, Hope Omirisu is another that's been making waves since it opened. Try the dish that gives the place its name you won't regret it.
Vigo Express, Corstorphine
Comfort food at its finest, this new fast food venue offers a range of great burgers and loaded fries, with the 'Philly Steak Burger' with Angus beef, Philly-style steak and melted cheese, a popular pick.
The Ranch, Sighthill
Should you fancy a little bit of Americana, then look no further than the Ranch, which does some of the best burgers in town.
Try out the Wyatt burger; two five-ounce beef patties, wedged in with onion rings, bacon jam, candied bacon and topped with Monterrey Jack cheddar.
Oh, and don't forget to add sides like the BBQ Cowboy Beans, Watchos (Cajun waffle fries) and the Macaroni Balls.

This year's Good Food named two Edinburgh takeaways in its awards for 2022.
Soul Sushi, Nicolson Street
Inspired by a trip to Australia, Soul Sushi offers a range of popular ‘grab and go’ boxes, as well as sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, poké bowls, hot katsu curries, salads and soups. It's often named among the best in the city when it comes to the Japanese speciality.
Chennai’s Marina, Jock’s Lodge
As well as the Good Food Awards, Chennai's Marina was also named Scottish Curry Awards Takeaway of the Year for the South East of Scotland for 2022.
The classic takeaway offers a wide selection of eclectic flavours from India and Sri Lanka.

Black Sheep Coffee, St James Quarter
Edinburgh's newest must-try-out coffee venue has opened at St James Quarter, offering a great selection of coffees, iced drinks, smoothie bowls, shakes, bagels and the delicious sounding Norwegian Waffles.
Treatz, Lothian Road
Top dessert chain Treatz have finally ventured north to the capital and opened their first Scottish venue on Lothian Road.
They have a huge menu of sweet treats to choose from including cookie dough, ice cream sundaes, milkshakes and waffles.
