Getting the right size helmet is essential. Wrap a soft, fabric measuring tape around your child’s head, about an inch above their eyebrows, to get an accurate circumference measurement. While it’s often tempting to buy large for kids to grow into, a helmet is one thing you definitely don’t want to buy in a bigger size as it won’t offer the right protection.
