89 days till Bengals season opener: Every player to wear No. 89 for Cincinnati

Believe it or not, just 89 days stand between the Cincinnati Bengals and their season opener against the Cleveland Browns on September 10.

As a nod to that upcoming occasion, we thought it would be fun to step back and take a look at some of the names from the team’s history who have worn the No. 89 over the years.

Fans will recall some of the more recent names like Jerome Simpson, of course. But what about Harry Gunner from the late 1960s?
