86-year-old Texas man spent nearly 40 years building 62-foot boat to sail to Alaska; now strangers are raising thousands to help him fulfil his dream

An 86-year-old Texas man has spent nearly four decades building a 62-foot steel boat in his front yard, hoping to one day sail it to Alaska. Now, after three visitors discovered his long-standing dream, strangers have come together to help him finish the vessel and move it to a launch site. According to a report by Good News Network, Dale, a resident of Mineral Wells, Texas, began the project in 1987, and his boat is now approximately 75% complete.
