86 members of banned CPI (Maoist) surrender before police in Telangana

Hyderabad: In a significant development, 86 members of the banned CPI (Maoist) party surrendered before S Chandrasekhar Reddy, IGP, Multi-Zone-I, in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Saturday.

Addressing the media, IGP Chandrasekhar Reddy stated that the surrendered individuals belonged to various Maoist formations: Area Committee Members (ACMs) – 4, Party Members – 5, RPC Committee – 8, RPC Militia – 27, RPC DAKMS/KMS – 20, RPC CNM – 13, and RPC GRD – 9.
