An 85-year-old Oregon man has been hailed a hero after intervening in an attempted assault on a woman. The unnamed hero heard the victim screaming for help after she had allegedly been incapacitated by Matthew Hokulii Aranda with a taser.
Video of Aranda’s arrest was shared on Facebook by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and it shows officers detaining the man who was hiding in a bush. Aranda has since been indicted on 10 charges which include attempted kidnapping, assault and unlawful use of a weapon as per PEOPLE.
