Earlier this week, we published a list of 15 in-house free agents the Denver Broncos should consider re-signing this spring. Today, we have a quick list of eight players the Broncos should let walk in March.
The most notable name on the list is guard Dalton Risner, who has a projected market value of about $9.5 million per season. After back-to-back underwhelming seasons, Risner seems unlikely to get that kind of salary from Denver. The Broncos will probably want to make big changes on the offensive line this offseason.
Another name of note is running back Mike Boone, who flashed moments of potential during his time in Denver but struggled to stay healthy. We expect that the Broncos will target running backs this offseason, and Boone seems unlikely to get an extension after missing 17 games over the last two years.
