Liverpool's St Patrick's Day celebrations have certainly been memorable so far, and the night is still young.
The celebration is always a huge deal in the city, with plenty of bars, clubs and pubs all celebrating with plenty of drinks and vibrant green outfits to match. Today, we saw the annual St Patrick's Day parade for the city, which became popular back in 2015.
Since Declan Doolin, who was 18 at the time, turned the parade into an annual celebration, the fun and vibrant day has been a staple for many. St Patrick's Day is every March 17 and is described as a 'cultural and religious celebration'.

It's held on the date that is believed to be the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. Many Irish bars such as Punch Tarmey's kicked off celebrations today with live music and Irish dancers tomorrow from 1pm (March 18).
Today, the parade began at the Old Irish Centre on Mount Pleasant from 2.30pm, before moving off at 3.30pm. It then went down to Hope Street, Upper Duke Street, Berry Street, Renshaw Street, Ranelagh Street, Hanover Street and Seel Street.
It's safe to say that there were plenty of memorable outfits, from seas of green to bold makeup, and we've picked the best of the bunch. St Patrick's Day is all about having fun, and Liverpool has certainly done that today.
