8 free-agent centers Broncos should consider signing

The Denver Broncos are expected to make big changes to their offensive line this offseason, potentially bringing in as many as three new starters up front.

One of the positions that could feature a new starter in 2023 is center. Lloyd Cushenberry started 40 games for the Broncos at center from 2020-2022 before suffering a groin injury last October.

Denver placed Cushenberry on injured reserve and kept him on IR last year even after he had recovered from that injury. The Broncos chosing to not bring Cushenberry back from IR might be a sign that his time as a starter in Denver is coming to an end.

With that possibility in mind, here’s a quick look at eight centers the Broncos might consider during NFL free agency this month. (Yes, there are two Connor McGoverns in the NFL, and they can both play guard and center.)
