LUCKNOW: UP Board class 10 and 12 examinations, scheduled from March 15, will be held at 8,373 examination centres.
This year the UP Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) has increased the examination centres from 8,266 in 2021 to 8,373. Close to 51.7 lakh students have registered for the examinations. While 27.8 lakh have registered for class 10, 23.9 lakh have registered for class 12. The board has asked schools to conduct pre-boards by February-end.
This time, UPSEB is likely to fix duties of examiners and invigilators online. The move is expected to keep proxy teachers who carry on with duties and encourage mass copying during the board examinations. With duties marked online, the flying squad and other officials will be able to see the list of teachers along with the college they have been assigned.
