After Jim Harbaugh dropped out of the race, the Denver Broncos now have seven remaining candidates for their head coach opening.
The most notable name on the list is Super Bowl-winning coach Sean Payton, who had an in-person interview with the Broncos on Tuesday. Denver also interviewed Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris on Tuesday.
Last week, the Broncos interviewed in-house DC Ejiro Evero, ex-NFL HC Jim Caldwell and ex-Stanford HC David Shaw. The team is also scheduled to meet with San Francisco 49ers DC DeMeco Ryans (Thursday) and Dallas Cowboys DC Dan Quinn (Friday) this week.
Here’s a quick look at the seven known candidates for the job in Denver. Fans should keep in mind that the Broncos are not considering these 12 other candidates.
