In 2025, it is estimated that Texas will have a population of approximately 31.83 to 32.46 million. The Texas Demographic Center projects 31.9 million for 2025, while other sources like World Population Review estimate 31.885 million. If these numbers are accurate, that equals a 1.58% growth from 2024's 31.39 million.
Between 2023 and 2024, more than 47,000 people moved to the Lone Star State. But even more impressive, the population of Texas has increased by more than 20% since 2010, and new residents are coming in droves to take advantage of Texas's lack of personal income tax, diverse job market, affordable cost of living and rent prices.
