After reaching an injury settlement with outside linebacker Christopher Allen and releasing him, the Denver Broncos now have seven remaining players on injured reserve.
Those seven players account for nearly $17.7 million worth of salary cap space, according to OverTheCap.com.
Buy Broncos TicketsThe biggest cap hit on IR is wide receiver Tim Patrick, who is set to miss the entire 2023 season with a torn Achilles. The next biggest cap hits on IR are cornerback K’Waun Williams ($2.88 million) and safety P.J. Locke ($1.39 million).
The four other players all have cap hits below $1 million this season. Here’s a quick look at the cap totals of Denver’s players currently on IR.

Patrick will miss the entire season with a torn Achilles.
