Devastating events in Nepal have once again brought the supposed predictions of Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga into the spotlight. Online reports are now linking these events to claims that she supposedly predicted widespread destruction in 2026.
Some versions of the claim suggest that 7 to 8 per cent of the world's surface could be affected by severe natural disasters this year. Other alleged predictions involve World War III, an encounter with extraterrestrial life, an uncontrollable artificial intelligence boom, a global economic crisis and even a possible change in Russia's leadership.
