7,479 new Scots Covid cases as hospital numbers in Ayrshire fall over weekend

Covid-19 Ayrshire Public Health Scotland

A further 7,479 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland — including 568 in Ayrshire.

Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are currently 2,360 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals, which is up 34 from Friday.

There are currently 21 people being treated with the disease in ICUs across the nation.
