CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Friday reported a further decline in fresh Covid-19 cases, as 675 new patients were reported, along with five deaths and 1,102 recoveries. In addition, 79,113 were given the vaccine jabs during the day.
With this the cumulative Covid count of the state has gone to 9,77,311 cases, of which 9,62,799 have recovered, 10,517 have died, while 3,972 are under treatment. Of the total active cases, 3,440 are in home isolation, while the rest are hospitalised.
The Covid positivity rate of the day was reported to be 3.11%, while recovery rate and fatality rate were reported to be 98.52% and 1.08%.
On Friday, two deaths were reported from Panipat, while one death each has been reported from Hisar, Karnal and Jhajjar districts. There was no new case of Omicron variant detected.
Gurgaon reported highest 277 cases, followed by 103 cases from Palwal, 70 cases from Faridabad. The remaining 19 districts reported less than 30 cases each.
On the vaccination front, first dose dose was given to 13,259 persons, second dose to 63,404 and booster dose to 2,450. tnn
