65% of Scottish workers consider quitting as wellness takes precedence over pay

Workers from across Scotland - ranging from junior employees through to senior management - are suffering from burnout and low morale, with nearly two thirds considering quitting their jobs.

A Censuswide survey, commissioned by wellness produce marketplace Juno, among 1,000 'white-collar' staff, found that 58% are currently suffering from low morale in the workplace - rising to 63% in the 45 to 54 age bracket.

A further 38% of employees said their company is having to operate at a reduced capacity due to shortages and 23% are seeing sales fall as they struggle to meet customer demand due to short staffing.
