It has been confirmed a man who went missing after he was dropped off at Manchester Airport has been found.
An appeal was launched by Merseyside Police after Kerry Dowd went missing last week. The 63-year-old was picked up by taxi from the Scarisbrick Hotel in Southport and dropped off at Terminal One of the airport at around 5.45pm on Thursday, April 7.
Merseyside Police confirmed earlier today that Kerry was found safe in Salford over the weekend. A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Kerry Dowd was found safe and well over the weekend in Salford. I will update this on our social media channels."

The original police release said: "We are appealing for help in finding a 63-year-old Southport man who is missing. Kerry Dowd was collected by taxi from the Scarisbrick Hotel in Southport and taken to Manchester airport terminal one at around 5.45am yesterday, Thursday 7th April.
"He didn’t board a flight and it isn’t believed he has his passport with him. There have been no sightings since. He is described as a white male, around 5ft 9in tall, with short grey hair and a goatee beard.
"When last seen he was wearing a black jacket with a hood, blue jeans and black shoes. Anyone who has seen Mr Dowd or knows of his whereabouts is asked to DM @MerPolCC or call 101.
