Dogs don’t exactly have to try very hard to make us laugh. A strange sleeping position, an overly dramatic expression, or one perfectly timed reaction can be enough to turn an ordinary moment into something worth sharing. The Instagram page “Jolly Doggies” celebrates that naturally funny side of our four-legged friends by collecting memes and amusing dog photos from around the internet.
Of course, not everything here is pure silliness. Mixed in with the jokes are moments that highlight just how attached dogs can become to their people, whether they’re refusing to let the petting stop, worrying when someone disappears for a few minutes, or simply staying close to the humans they love. That combination of affection, chaos, and unintentional comedy is a big part of why dogs remain such reliable meme material.
