6 highest-graded players for the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2

It was a tough loss for the Raiders in Week 2 as they dominated the Cardinals for more than three quarters. But as we know in the NFL, it’s never over until it’s over. Josh McDaniels and his team need to do a better job of putting away opponents, especially at home.

However, it wasn’t all bad on Sunday as there were multiple standout players for the Raiders. Here are the six highest-graded players for the Las Vegas Raiders during their Week 2 game against the Arizona Cardinals via Pro Football Focus:

1. RB Josh Jacobs (77.9)
2. FS Duron Harmon (72.0)
3. CB Nate Hobbs (71.8)
4. LT Kolton Miller (71.1)
5. DE Maxx Crosby (71.1)
6. CB Amik Robertson (70.4)

Sunday was just the third time in Robertson’s career that he started, but he was outstanding. Playing mostly in the slot, Robertson allowed just five receptions for 45 yards on six targets. He also added an interception and had multiple run stops, which is important when playing in the slot.

We should also mention that Hobbs, who shifted to the outside in Week 2, also had a strong game. He allowed just 55 receiving yards on 14 targets and he also was able to record an interception. Going forward, it only makes sense to have both Robertson and Hobbs on the field at the same time.

Another defensive back that deserves to be praised is Duron Harmon. Starting for the injured Trevon Moehrig, Harmon made a big play in overtime to force an incompletion on a pass to Marquise Brown.

The veteran safety is still a quality player and there is little to no drop-off when he has to come in the game for Moehrig or Johnathan Abram. In fact, with his experience, you can even make a case that he’s the best and most reliable safety on the roster right now.
