6 girls killed in car crash on Tennessee highway

Six girls were killed in a violent car crash on a Tennessee interstate early Sunday morning.

Two adults were wounded in the wreck on I-24 in Robertson County, north of Nashville, local ABC affiliate WKRN reported. A third adult walked away unharmed. None of the victims was immediately identified.

Emergency responders said two cars collided just after 2 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-24, according to WKRN.
