51,000 reclining chair batteries recalled after reports of fires

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recalled approximately 51,000 lithium-ion battery packs used in reclining chairs after reports of the batteries overheating and catching fire. The recalled product is Blue Cactus Company's 2,500 mAh battery pack (model RWX-RBP02), which was sold on Amazon from May 2023 through July 2026.
