According to the 2026 American Customer Satisfaction Index, Trader Joe’s has the highest customer satisfaction ratings among grocery stores in America. It dethroned Publix, which held the honor the year before. 

Customers ranked stores based on factors such as convenience, customer service, store hours, and store layout, among others. Given that Trader Joe’s is known for its unique products and incredibly friendly staff, it’s no wonder the grocery store chain took the top spot on this year’s survey.
