5 things to know about Christo Lamprecht, who’s off to a scorching British Open 2023 start

Among the early leaders at the 2023 British Open on Thursday was a name you may not know as well as some of the other big stars playing the links: Christo Lamprecht.

If you woke up on the East coast, you saw his name on top of the leaderboard, and yes, with that (a) next to his name, he’s an amateur playing at Royal Liverpool. How cool is that?
