Five-star offensive tackle recruit Micah DeBose committed to the Georgia Bulldogs in Jan. 2023. DeBose, a member of the class of 2025, remains committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.
Ohio State offered a scholarship to Micah DeBose in late July. The Buckeyes are one of DeBose’s top three schools. DeBose is keeping his recruitment open. The five-star has a couple of years left in the recruiting process.
DeBose notes that he is also considering graduating early. It is unclear if this would mean reclassifying to the class of 2024 or enrolling early as a member of the class of 2025.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive tackle is one of the top recruits in the country. DeBose, who plays high school football for Vigor High School in Prichard, Alabama, is considered the No. 16 recruit in the class of 2025, per 247Sports. The talented offensive lineman is the third-ranked player at his position and the third-ranked player in Alabama in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Kirby Smart and Georgia currently have the No. 1 class of 2025 in the nation. It sounds like the Bulldogs will have to hold off Ohio State if Georgia wants to maintain Micah DeBose’s commitment.
