The Raiders were unable to complete the comeback against the Chargers after trailing 23-7 in the fourth quarter. The Raiders had a chance to tie the game late, but an interception thrown by Aidan O’Connell in the end zone halted their comeback chances.
While the Raiders didn’t get the win, there were several players who had encouraging performances against the Chargers. Here are the five highest-graded players for the Raiders during their Week 4 loss to the Chargers, according to Pro Football Focus:
EDGE Maxx Crosby – 93.6
FS Trevon Moehrig – 90.6
MLB Luke Masterson – 90.3
DT Bilal Nichols – 82.9
DT Adam Butler – 80.0
Maxx Crosby had one of the best games of his career on Sunday, recording nine pressures and two sacks. He forced Justin Herbert out of the pocket several times and was the best player on the field for the Raiders. Somehow, Crosby has leveled up his season and is playing better than ever.
Another player who had a surprisingly good performance was Trevon Moehrig, who recorded an interception on Sunday. Moehrig has not allowed a single yard in coverage over the last two games as things are finally starting to click for the third-year safety from TCU.
