I’ve always enjoyed a good mystery, especially when it comes with a bit of thriller edge. Part of the fun is in how these shows drop hints, throw in the occasional red herring and keep you guessing about what’s really going on. Enough to make you binge-watch the whole thing.
Of course, not every Netflix mystery hits the mark, and that includes flops like “The Watcher,” “Caught” and “Missing You.” What makes the best mystery thrillers actually work is the mix of suspense and story. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, another twist comes along to change everything.
