Netflix’s new action-thriller "The Rip" is a runaway success, rocketing to the No. 1 spot in less than 24 hours and racking up an impressive 41.6 million views in its first weekend. Starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, the film is already shaping up to be one of the platform’s biggest hits of 2026. It’s a tightly wound thriller following a group of Miami cops who stumble across a jaw-dropping stash of cash in a rundown house, only to have paranoia force them to question each other’s loyalty.
I genuinely enjoyed the tension of this heist-gone-wrong, and if you’ve already streamed "The Rip" and need something just as thrilling to watch next, there are several great options available. These picks capture that same high-stakes energy and moral ambiguity that made the movie such a splash.
